Story: 2AM, closing time: A cocky bar manager with a shady past and a young handsome bartender discover a beautiful woman bloodied and unconscious in the bathroom of a late night lounge. When she awakens, Tony, Matt and the mysterious Rose are plunged into a stirring evening of dangerous role playing in an ever-escalating game of cat and mouse that forces them to face the dark shadows of themselves. This movie is really weird because it made me stay tuned till the end.The reason I say weird is because, this movie is bad. Usually when Isee a bad movie on this level I either change the channel, eject thedisc or walk out of the theater. This flick is one of those flicks thatwill have you looking away in disbelief. Screaming to yourself What thefreak is the matter with that person. I mean really? I doubt anyonewatching would have let them selves into a situation as in this movie.There is a twist of course. You could feel one coming from thebeginning. Maybe that is why I let this dozy run the mile. I doubt theother reviews are really from someone not associated with the film. Iwill not recommend this movie to anyone, however it is different. Viewat your own risk.

This movie had a really interesting plot - it kept me glued to thescreen all the way through. I found in it a rare quality - I actuallycouldn't guess what would happen next which really helps with keepingyou involved – I'm one of those people who can easily be bored by amovie if it is predictable so this was refreshing to see. The storyline touches on some delicate and potentially triggering subjects butthey are portrayed really well in the movie. Fairuza Balk is incrediblein this film - she really played and developed the role in such a waythat it made the character become almost lifelike – there was a realdepth to her performance in this film making it that much moreenjoyable. The ending of the movie involved a major plot twist whichcame as a complete shock; however it was both a good and bad ending atthe same time. The concept of the ending was a fantastic idea andprovided the much needed shock factor in a mystery/thriller movie – butI was left wanting more of a development of the ending. All in all Iwould really recommend watching if you like a good mystery or thriller!

It's raw, sultry, fun, surprising... I saw a preview screening of thisfilm in LA and REALLY enjoyed it. If you're a fan of intense, smart,slow- burn drama, (like David Mamet) where a few characters ramhead-to-head and transform before your eyes, you definitely shouldcheck this out.
Fairuza Balk has never been better - she's electric, and haunted, andwounded, and powerful.
And the other two main actors totally hold their own against Fairuzawith rich, edgy performances too. Great acting all around.
It's a kick-ass indie film that sticks to your ribs.
